Sweatshirt

This alteration involves removing a portion of your sweatshirt's fabric from its length and then re-hemming (aka re-sewing) your sweatshirt to the length of your choosing. 

You will pick the exact length of your sweatshirt after you complete your order and receive your Ship Kit. Check out our Pinning Guides for how to choose and pin your desired sweatshirt length.

Once we shorten your sweatshirt, we will re-hem it with either a Straight Hem, a Round Hem, or Keep Waistband.

Straight Hem
The bottom edge of the fabric is cut and sewn in a straight line, creating an even and uniform hem.

Round Hem
The bottom edge of the fabric is curved, creating a rounded hemline that is longer in the middle and slightly shorter on the sides.

Keep Waistband
The sweatshirt's waistband is removed and re-attached to the shortened sweatshirt at the desired length.

SHORTEN SLEEVES
Shortening sleeves involves removing a portion of the sleeve’s fabric and re-hemming them to the length of your choosing.

You will pick the new length of your sleeves after you complete your order and receive your Ship Kit. Check out our Pinning Guides for how to choose and pin your desired sleeve length.

Once we shorten your sleeves, we will re-hem them with either a Straight Hem or we'll Keep Original Cuffs.

Straight Hem
Your sleeves will be finished in a straight, uniform line. (We suggest this option if you are cutting the majority of your sleeves off to ensure the sleeve isn't too tight around your upper arm).

We can shorten your sleeves all the way to the existing armhole seam, but if you would like your sleeves shortened past the armhole seam, please select Remove Sleeves. 

REMOVE SLEEVES
This alteration involves removing your sleeves entirely.

You will choose the exact armhole size after you complete your order and receive your Ship Kit. Check out our Pinning Guides for how to choose and pin your sweatshirt for removing sleeves.

Once we remove your sleeves, we will re-hem your armhole in the style of your original hem.

This alteration involves altering the neck hole of your sweatshirt.

WIDEN NECK
We will widen the size of your neck hole.

You will pick the exact width after you complete your order and receive your Ship Kit. Check out our Pinning Guides for how to choose and pin your desired neck width.

If you are starting with a hoodie, this alteration will remove the hood.

V-NECK
We will alter the neck of your sweatshirt into a V-neck.

You will choose the depth of your v-neckline after you complete your order and receive your Ship Kit. Check out our Pinning Guides for how to choose and pin your desired v-neck.

SLIT NECK
We will cut a slit down the front center of your sweatshirt's neckline and finish the raw hems on either side.

You will choose the depth of your slit neckline after you complete your order and receive your Ship Kit. Check out our Pinning Guides for how to choose and pin your desired slit neck.

To get started, you’ll choose from our selection of alterations. After you place your order, we'll send you our complimentary Ship Kit in the mail. Next, you’ll pin your own clothes using our Ship Kit, ship your clothes to Crop It For Me, and we’ll handle the rest.

When we’re done with the alterations you purchased, we’ll send your newly transformed clothes back to you to enjoy.
